The fear I had the whole time i was doing my engine out work of something like this happening to me and it all needing to come back out again was huge! Then you could forget something else, nip another seal, get another dodgy part, blah blah blah and be at it again and again. Could be the never ending cycle! Done 300miles so far in mine since all the work and touch wood it's looking positive for me.... at the moment!

Rubbish new parts seems to be all too common unfortunately. Even with previously good brands.

I think the cam kit thing was £700 ish from memory. Don't know about the rest. I dread to think...

That FAI one doesn’t look the same as OEM and Vaico, as far as I can see from the vid. Many non OE parts are better than OE, sadly that one wasn’t.
