Rear upper and lower suspension arms

Post by Varks » Wed Feb 05, 2025 4:46 pm

Hi all, does anyone have a supplier for rear upper and lower suspension arms? i gather they are NLA from Audi but wasn't sure if any companies had started re manufactured them, mine aren't in the best shape and want to give her a fighting chance at surviving for a few more years,

I had mine powder coated instead of getting new arms. I think Audi heritage might have them but they're ££ and you have the post Brexit rigmarole to get them via Deutcheparts as AH won't sell to UK now.

Always worth checking the Autodoc catalogue to see if they're listed there. It's a pig of a job from what I remember so best only ever done once!

After the metal arms themselves, mine don’t look great but may have to take them off at some point and treat and paint them, new bushes then straight back in,
I have looked on Auto doc, they list 100’s of front arms but no rear ones sadly

If you want a spare set of arms to refurbish your welcome to have my old ones, nothing wrong with them, just was able to find new ones at the time. The metal part is the same on all the quattros I beleive, just the bushes are different

Felix,
Of course if Varks doesn't take you up on them rear arms I will. I'm also in a position of wanting to refurb the rear end and I'd rather have a spare set off the car ready to swap over.
