The rebuild is starting to take shape.

Part of the rear suspension refurb for the RS included powder coating the hubs/wheel bearing housing. I was advised by many to leave it alone, however I was never going to be happy without clean hubs.

Everyone’s main concern was removing the speed sensors, they weren’t going to come out without smashing them to pieces and new sensors were NLA.

After a bit of searching with a friend we found what we hoped were an after market replacement.

Anyway I’m so pleased I went ahead as the new sensors fit perfectly. I’ve yet to take here out for a run but fingers crossed they’re reliable.

Coming along nice that mate.

Currently changing everything on mine but struggling to get the rear inner c.v joints. Did you get new shafts or rebuild your old ones.

Thanks Steve. 👍

Fingers crossed for Thursday but it will be a long day if it is to be finished. I also need to get her to an MOT station.
