Changing DIS display

Post by pwack » Wed Jun 26, 2024 11:49 am

Hello

Just wondering if anyone knows how to change the DIS to show the outside temp and MPG all the time , I have changed to a RNS-E and every time I turn the radio on the DIS changes to show the GPS direction. Unfortunately I changed to the RNS-E before I got the car back on the road so I don't know what it displayed before hand with the RNS-D

Pic above is when radio is turned off , this is how I would like it to be all the time , I don't use the satnav on the RNS-E so would rather be able to see MPG. temp ect.

I have tried going through menus on the control on the center console but nothing seems to change it , and pressing the buttons on the end of the right stalk also doesn't change anything when the radio is on , everything works fine when radio is off.

I have looked at the coding options foe the RNS-E and as far as I am aware the coding is correct , cant see any coding options to do with DIS characteristics.

Any ideas?

Just press the button under the indicator stalk to get rid of the GPS direction.

What happens if you take the NAV CD out?
I have RNS-E and I don’t get that compass in the DIS.

Forget this, my internet was slow and I couldn’t see that people had already replied

This catches everyone out at some point! At least, those with the OE headunits.

/also, 15.1mpg? Must try harder.
