stunning swiss limo CHF60k

Post by anditsoundslikebells » Tue Feb 27, 2024 4:33 pm

seems the prices are getting high for quality cars.

seeing these manual limos makes me want one before the prices really go....

I just need a job, house, double garage.... then I'll find one.

This is perfect for me

I don't think a manual conversion will ever become a collectors though. The extreme mods will hurt the value.

Swiss cars are generally extremely well looked after. Harsh MOT regime also contributes to the ease of finding well maintained cars.

Having spent time at S & RS-Werkstatt AG I would agree.
I was lucky that my car was a Swiss import into Holland. I'd guess thats a factor as to why I have ended up with a good one.
I would still love one like the above though.

Those mats aren't OE. The logo was never in that orientation. They also look at bit aftermarkety, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Just really difficult to sort the wheat from the chaff when looking for mats. They all say they are "OE quality" but most of them aren't even LIDL quality.

Thanks Steve. I'm now starting to see the silver lining in the whole thing. Switzerland is great but too costly for me. Holland is the good life by comparison so I'm happy to get back there. Just need a job in the next 8 weeks so lets see.
I remember searching high and low for good mats. Glas I found my OEM S6 mats. Super simpe, no branding, good quality & perfect fit.
Having a look for you, I did find these.

You could order to me in Holland, I can drive them to the UK when I come back. Then ship them on to you.

Careful that they’re not just for LHD cars

Cheers Alex. What do they fit like. The style looks totally different.
My current original Audi mats are moulded and a superb fit which I would like to replicate.
As shopp mentioned are they for L H cars.
Mine is a Right Hand drive.

ah, i thought it was the big RS6 branding you liked.
i think people have been down the path of c5 RS6 mats many times with no joy.
i never found anyone who sells shaped mats.
i also found a pair of C6 mats to test to see if they fit... they don't
