Cable identification in engine loom

Post by pwack » Tue Dec 19, 2023 5:53 pm

Hello Gents

Just put the engine back in and got it running but I have one lead with a 2pin plug on that I cant find where it plugs into???

Its from the main engine loom , see pic below , its comes out of the main loom on the right hand side where it comes through the Bulk head.

Hi Mate

Check under the N/S/F chassis leg as there is a little water pump there.(well at least there is on mine).
Or it might be for the cooling fan module thing that also lives there.

I think it's actually a solenoid valve, not a water pump - although never quite worked out what its purpose is.
I also spent an age headscratching trying to remember where it plugged in the first time I took my engine out too.
