Track wheels 18"

Post by rs666 » Sat Feb 11, 2006 12:45 pm

Got some nice track tyres

Need some 18" rims now

What are my options? Not going to buy OEM's as the price is stupid.

Will reps be ok on track? Are they strong enough?

You can't answer the question about reps. That's like saying is a bit of wood strong enough. It depends on the type of wood. Balsa or teak? What I'm saying is that not all replicas are equal. This is where OEM wheels have the advantage. However they are silly money.

Get yourself a nice set of BBS or OZ wheels...not cheap, but worth it.

Looking at a set of wheels at Demon Tweeks, very light, but they need to confirm they can get them over the brake setup.
