Two pack epoxy paint v powder coating’s

Post by ChrisA » Thu Jan 05, 2023 12:36 pm

Hi guys

I just wondered what peoples thoughts are with two pack epoxy paint v powder coating for refurbished brakes?

I’m getting mine done soon and there seems to be the two options. My instincts tell me to go for PC.

Cheers,
Chris.

Instinctively I'd say powder coat is better but I don't really have much to back that up. I suspect it gives a more OE finish and covers small imperfections better whereas paint might need much more surface prep to get a decent finish. Jayjay might be the best one to answer this, assuming he can take time away from cutting wires.
