Condensation issues with RS6 & Solar roof

Post by craigyb » Fri Feb 03, 2006 2:07 pm

My car was plagued with steamed up windows when using the aircon and leaving the car parked up, on return the windows all around were not only steamed up, but had water running down them as well.

Seems there is a fix and I've just had it done to my car. It involves adding a sensor to near the front of the car behind the bumper.

Thanks, I get it too, but not as bad as you describe.

Do I just ask my dealer to do it under warranty and quote the Tech Bulletin number?

I guess so, my dealer said they had never seen it before, but after I insisted I had the issue they did some digging and told me they would order the TB fix and install it.

Links Audi in Macclesfield did the work for me.

hmm not so sure Chester Audi will be so helpful.

Went into there today with Sat Nav problem. There first response was they could not look at until 21st Feb!!! After going out and calming down I went back in and got an appointment on Tuesday 8)

Will ring them and ask them to look at this too
