Unit 20 is 600 mile round trip for me - £180 on fuel but at £50.00 plus VAT hourly rate + reputation on this site and others means anything needs doing major, gonna book time off and make the drive.

Thanks for the advice everybody much appreciated from this newbie.

I also have some good feed back for this forum regarding FONTAIN MOTORS!! - after sales service from Marcus - will post it on saturday if all goes well.

For me unit 20. 300 mile round trip. Had local garages work on my car. Then to unit 20 to get it done properly. Hate paying twice to get a job done. So unit 20 is my preferred choice.
And such a personal service provided. They go through everything that has been done to the car with you. If you have any questions grizz will spend time with you with expert knowledge.
At AMD I find you drop the car off and pick it up and pay the bill.

Take it that they give you a courtesy car? Might give them a look, Camberleys not the same without Rob :(.

Best to discuss courtesy car availability with them when you book it in.
If it’s a long job I usually book in to a local hotel. Ship hotel in Neston. Which I enjoy because the rooms and food are incredible.
Just to reiterate grizz and the team of 3 techs are really professional and above all very honest. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
When it comes to the RS6 I am a really fussy bugger. So if I am happy with their work I cannot imagine anyone being unhappy with the work done.
On top of that they are very competitive with the hourly rate.
The best bit. I can spend 5 hours driving my pride and joy.
