You did quite a bit of tear down / stripping in a short time. I've done so little to mine, I feel bad that I am hardly driving it! I am hoping that soon I can start with the suspension strip down and replacement of bushes etc.

Thanks RS62njoy - let me know once you have a decision - my set is also black CF. :D

Well, to be fare I have to say that even thou I'm doing this by myself I took 7 days off work to tackle down as much work as possible. That's probably why a lot is being achieved in so little time. 8 hrs a day doing this get you ahead of the game.

Today wasn't as productive since I spent less time with the project and also because dealing with the white interior was very scary. All I got left inside is the dashboard and carpet. Then tons of pics and labeling and wiring comes out.

Fourth day down. More interior work. Today was a very challenging day. Taking that rug out was a bear. And the dash was a pain in the ass!!!!

Couple of questions I have here. S6 where everything is going to be swapped into it's a year 2000 and the RS6 it's a 2003. ECU and TCU are still plug and play? Is the wiring pin out still the same?

It's been a while since a post here but project hasn't stopped. Working on the transmission right now. Rebuild kit just got here. Still have to finish taking the transmission apart though.

Do you still have the rack? I might be interested in a spare. What would you want for it?

Yeah the rack is still here. I think 150€ for it could be a right price. What do you think?
I sure wish I could buy any part for my project for that money. Anything is sooo expensive

Did you sort out the wiring harness? I purchased one and its a left hand drive harness. I am in Australia and need a right hand drive harness.
