Ecu tune advice

Post by Muzzyzx7rr » Tue Mar 05, 2019 5:51 am

I know this has been covered but can’t find any recent stuff or updates. What is the best ecu tune for the c5 RS6? I’ve heard giac blows up engines and apr is overpriced and not much performance. My gut says 034motorsports for ecu and tip chip....am I going in the right direction?

There are other options out there. Blake Beedle over in California has tuned all of my B5 S4's and my RS6 as well. Complete emissions code out, and unlimited revisions to really dial the car in. Something you dont get with OTS tunes. He does remote tunes

I looked at his website and there is no info on the tune just a bunch of disclaimers which makes you more nervous than anything. If it’s good his price is reasonable compared to others. I wonder what the power gains are.

He emailed me back and power gains seem very good. How is the drivability of your car Jolio?

All of his other tunes have been spot on for my S4's. We were running into overboosting issues with the Stage 1 tune because I had a fault with the line going to the wastegates. Fixed now and when I get the car back on the road I expect great things

I thing I will go with Blake, I bet when that RS6 tune wakes up it is a beast. But I’m worried about the trans. His prices seem so reasonable compared to everyone else. I wonder if his tune is better accented with a tip chip from 034.

I spoke with him about that trans in particular!

I said I liked the power of the Stage 1, but wanted the tq to be a little more conservative. He said he could tune it reasonably.

This was back in January, he can do whatever you want

I still don’t understand the emissions delete lol. Wow he seems like an awesome guy though. How did it feel with the tune.
