19-21 MPG ? Sorry but you lie !
It's possible. Though depends where in the country you live. Previous to picking mine up in the Midlands it indicated 19mpg and an average of 19mph.

Where we live my average is nearly 40mph and an indicated 24mpg. It's not bad on long runs considering its heavy, shaped like a brick and has 4wd.

To the OP, mugello is the best colour especially when the sun comes out.

Think the best I ever got when hypermiling was about 23 measured. Did it once to know, but never bothered again. My Volvo will do about 24mpg max The Outlander phev is worse. Go figure.

Remember that average is average.

It does not mean sitting on the motorway at 55mph and hitting zero and then pretending to have 25mpg.

Ain't nobody getting over 20(ish)mpg average. Even a a slight motorway incline mine plummets to below 10 :-(

Mine was over a 500mile+ journey. In all the cases.

I think I’m pretty accurate considering I calculate actual consumption from full to full.

I think most will agree that the average will not be taken over a mile or 2 specifically helpful to hypermiling. Mine is just average driving over 2000 plus miles. I am however lucky enough to not get stuck in stop start traffic for miles on end, ever.

I am aware the computer is on the optimistic side, but 20% more optimistic?

I still maintain for all the odds stacked against it for been economical, it isn't as bad as I was led to believe.

I averaged mine over the year Approx 4000 miles. At one point going to Alton towers from Scotland it showed 24.1 mpg.

Been running mine as a daily for nearly 12 months now, mixture of town stop start and fast dual carriageway.
Just for laughs a couple of months back I set the average mpg to show on the DIS; it read 18.2 but has recently dropped to 18.1....
