do you think it's poss to pick up '04 saloon next Feb for £36k? Thanks

thanks Clive. '02 car is too old for me . This 04 red one looks promising . Haven't seen many red cars....clive.harper wrote:I think you're unlikely to pick up an '04 model for that sort of money, but you might want to take a look at this '02 model :

Thanks Gary. The 5 Touring's about the same size so it should'nt be too much trouble for her.GaryC wrote:Unless you happen to find one with a very high mileage I think you'd be hard-pressed to find an 04 plate for £36k. I think you'd need about £40k for a nice one with low mileage.
As to whether it's up to the school run and car park stuff, the answer is a definite yes. Although we'd normally use our RS6 exclusively at weekends, my wife has been on maternity leave most of the past year so she's used the car for lots of day to day stuff as well (shopping, nursery runs, coffee mornings etc)...so much so that we sold her octavia estate as it was sitting never being used as she loves driving the audi so much! The only caveats are that you can almost see the fuel gauge dropping in this kind of driving (expect 13-14mpg around town), and it's a big car which isn't at its best in tight parking situations (though the park assist helps immensely).

Do post as to how you get on.

Gary.
