Noisy Fans...

Hi - anyone any experience, or could comment on what I think are noisy electric fans that cut in when the air con is is on (located in the front grill) ?

Dealer reckons they are all noisy, that there may be a technical note about it... Expect them to make a noise, but a bit intrusive..

They do make a noticable noise, but on mine it's certainly not intrusive & can only really be heard on start-up.

Mmm - not sure if it is me then, anyone near Northamptonshire for a comparision ??

I live in West Lancashire, but once a month drive down to London, so kinda pass Northamptonshire (sort of).

I'm sure their are some RS6 owners on here that are much closer, but if you don't have any luck, drop me a line & we could arrange to meet next time i'm heading South.

My 6+ has the same problem and the noise level varies and is sometimes slightly intrusive (I know, turn the radio up!). My dealer has changed the aircon fan but it has made no difference and thinks 'they are all like that'. Doesn't bother me that much but when you think of the price it sometimes anoys me a bit.
