RS6+ Wheel

Post by MartynC » Tue Sep 06, 2005 5:51 pm

Any body want an RS6+ wheel, very lightly kerbed but make a good spare (if you don't want anything else in the back that is!)?

Just had 4 x Mich PS2 tyres on my new set and they seem to offer good kerb protection within reason, grippy too.

Ernie, sorry mate, Jeeves has got first refusal at the moment. If he decides he doesn't want it I'll pm you.

Do you have a 6+ ?

Yes, I have a 6+.

Hit a curb so hard that it dented the rim. Still fine for driving but would prefer this as a spare and a truly round one on the car..let me know either way.
Thanks,

Ernie

If Jeeves doesn't want it. it's yours Ernie.....Adam do you still want it??

I've had PS2 Pilots put on the car and they provide a reasonable level of protection against kerb damage.

Cheers, MartynC

If your mobile ends in 868 I think we spoke at the end of June. Glad to hear you've still got it. Mine's not disappointed me once in a year so far.

Agreed - have done 15 k miles now in 14 months and apart from 2 new tyres have not had one single problem.

Very impressed....
