RS6 alarm system fault

I seem to have a fault with my alarm system. When I lock the car with the key fob the red diodes on top of the doors are not lighting up unless I press the key fob lock button a second time. Anyone else had this type of problem

Have you checked that the tailgate or boot lid is shut properly?
