Rear wash-wipe great for washing smelly passengers feet

Post by EuroSag » Mon Sep 05, 2005 4:16 pm

I hardly use my rear screen wash-wipe facility, but when I tried to use it today - no water came out of the wiper, but the passenger footwell was getting sprayed with a powerful jet of water from behind the plastic kickpanel adjacent to the door. Eventually water started coming out of the wiper too, but still continued to soak the passenger footwell.

The car is an 04 RS6 Avant.

Frankly, my local Audi dealer are rude and about as much use as a chocolate fireguard, so I'm planning on having a look myself.

I guess the logical place to start investigating is behind the passenger kickpanel, but just wondered if anyone had any pointers???

Thanks

Lee

rear washer

When my car was in for some work recently, I mentioned that the rear washer appeared to have got blocked. They had a look and found it too had also become disconnected in the passenger footwell. I had never seen any water in the car though!
