after 2 years & 32,000miles of fun have swapped for a used A8 4.0tdi-looking forward to the fuel economy & 3 years free maintenence!

Nice car! Nevertheless will be genuinely interested to hear how you get on with the fuel economy - my mate is struggling to get 25mpg from his. I get well over 20 in the RS6+....

christ - you must be driving slow gord - mine NEVER averaged over 16.7 / 17 mpg

so far getting 29-30mpg in mix of town/motorway driving.
general impressions-smooth effortless performance not too dissimilar to rs6 in terms of torque delivery,better driving enviroment & feels lighter on its feet with its air springs,even though its heavier than the rs

hmmm, whatever floats your boat i suppose.. get it tuned either way...amd should be able to sort you!
