Need a set of New tyres any recommendations?

Post by Jay_g » Sat Mar 12, 2016 1:23 pm

If anyone is watching, I got the M01 spec PS2s on the car. They fit at least, yet to check actual clearances but I don't have el knobbly anyway so that isn't an issue. It drives well with no scrubbing, only on full lock but hopefully Mr Virdees spacers will fix that shortly!

To be fair, they seem to scrub less than the Sport Craptacts that were on there before!

Ah, interesting. Hopefully the spec is the same as the R01. :thumbs:
Daytona RS6 C5 Avant. Viper'd, Billies, Waggers, MTM box brain, C6 stoppers, xcarlink, R8 coolant cap (woohoo)
///M3 E46 | XC90 (V8, natch) | Passat GTE | RR Classic V8 flapper

Unfortunately I never got to experience the R01s. The sport contacts I had on before were diabolical, not helped by the fact they were getting on a bit so anything will feel an improvement to them.

Since they fit, I'll definitely try some next time. Assuming they don't stop those too.
