Joining the RS6 club!

Post by Wacko » Wed Apr 06, 2005 8:30 pm

Hi all. After a lot of looking I have placed a deposit on a Mugello Blue RS6 Saloon.

Can't wait to get my hands on it!

Quick question: do seat position presets come as standard?

No, you set the seat and then record the seat, mirror and steering wheel position

Welcome to the world of the RS

Hello mate. Thanks for the rapid response.

I think I worded the question very badly!: What I meant to ask was whether the RS6 has seat memory positions i.e. press a different preset and the stored position comes up, or do you have to manually (albeit electrically) move the seat every time a new driver gets in?

Welcome to RS6 ownership, I'm sure you will enjoy it.

The seats have no memory, unfortunately. I have found a relatively simple solution, however - I don't let anyone else drive.

Or marry a girl who's not a lot smaller and who doesn't quite like a true driving position. I did that 10 years ago, and even use the same drysuit when diving. Problem comes when they get pregnant....and you have to slow down too.
