Fcukers

Post by pete62 » Mon Jan 12, 2015 7:05 pm

They came for the 6 today whilst I was at work.
Left the 6 at home safe and warm on the drive whilst I was out earning a living.
Fcukers motherfuffing funts!
Smashed the rear patio door . Alarm went off and neighbours say they only had a couple of minutes inside but they turned a lot of places inside out in that time and made a right mess.
Fortunately keys were not in the house as I take them with me.

Really sorry to hear that - hate the feeling of invasion that results.

Hopefully your insurance company will be sensible!

Private CCTV is useless for trying to prosecute. The law is useless. It's only a deterrent.

Sorry to hear that, must be a terrible feeling total <beep>

Thanks, although they turned the house over it doesn't seem like they took much if anything.
Clearly it was the car they wanted.
Hard wired alarm panel was literally ripped off the wall and torn out of all it's wires including the live mains connection.
Alarm set off immediately and neighbours chased them by car into local town. Stolen car used was recovered later. Neighbours CCTV got them. There were 4 of them two entered the house all gloved up , two stayed in the stolen car.
Just goes to show you can't keep them out it's about either the keys not being there or well and securely hidden so that they don't have time to find them.
I would have been particularly pissed if they'd taken it as I've just done the door lock!

Every cloud has a silver lining though imagine you had been there or your family, these sort of c unts wouldn't think twice about stabbing you etc.

Aweful news. At least you still have the beast though.
I hate to be pessimistic but I strongly suggest you keep it elsewhere for the time being-they could well return for it.
If they want the car badly enough they could return when you are home so they can get the keys!!!
If the car's not there though then there's not much point.
I don't mean to scare you but take care.
I'm defo fitting a dead man's switch to mine now!!!!

I had to convince my little old lady RS 7 customer to leave her keys on the stairs and not take them to bed with her. Bless her, she loved it.

Seriously, though. This is getting out of hand. I think the key thing is to keep ourselves safe, feck trackers and make sure we have some form of GAP and enough preventive security in place.

Your probably fed up of hearing sorry to hear about etc etc, but the main thing is you and the family weren't hurt in any way. Get CCTV if you don't already have it, as even if the police can't do anything at lease you'll have an idea of what they look like and look out for people lurking about the house. As people like this don't just turn up without do their "homework" if you know what I mean, they'll get what's coming to them...

Sorry to hear it. Have you noticed anyone suspicious around the house lately. They obviously knew you were at work and had left the car there.

A house round the corner from me was broken into over Christmas. They jumped over the back garden from a main road and nobody even saw them

Pete62,

I feel for you mate as i am currently going through the same nightmare, two nights ago my conservatory door got smashed in then an attempt at the next door which leads directly into my house. Luckily the second glass door resisted all force from the big rocks they were using to plough there way in to my property. All of this took place whilst myself the misses and our 17 month old boy were asleep upstairs.

We feel completely violated now but have up'd our security and purchased a selection of some particularly nasty tooling should i have to use them at short notice!!! Forensics were in today and found evidence which will hopefully lead them to the culprit, fingers crossed.

Feckin <beep>!!!!!

Thanks for all the positive replies .
Sounds like I got off quite lightly next to gmac78's post.
Sat waiting for new alarm to arrive by courier so I can get that fitted so at least I will have some warning at night if they come back.
Still haven't found anything missing and the 6 was the only car on the drive so definitely was the reason,
Info I have is they were local travellers?!
Interestingly I've had a few false alarms in the last few weeks whilst I was away . All were on the entry zone and usually the alarm is ultra reliable and doesn't false alarm.
Might have been a spider but could have been the shock sensors on the rear patio door triggering if the door was hit hard enough...who knows.
Building a garage is on the cards but takes time and money. Likewise electric gates which are very expensive and might give the impression there's more to steal than there actually is.
