Re: Brake caliper repaint, what colour?
I'm about to get the wheels refurbed, mines a black c6 rs6 and I haven't even considered the callipers! Replaced the disks and pads yesterday and have to admit somebodies attacked them a little in the past! Can see minor corrosion around the nipples. Nothing anyone could see with te wheels on but I KNOW! So this might be a great plan in the spring.

Opted for the same grey used on the Audi ceramic kits, disc centres too. Having the casting finish smoothed first on the rears for a nicer end result.

Re: Brake caliper repaint, what colour?
Good choice, I thought long and hard about changing my grey ceramic callipers to blue but decided against it in the end.
Do you know the paint code for the ceramic grey, as I'd like to get my rears done to match in now?

Good choice, besides black, a dark metallic gray can show them a bit more, but still understated. Looking forward to final pics. How about the rears?

Re: Brake caliper repaint, what colour?
I can imagine they will look good on the car, probably better on some than others depending on car body colour and wheel colour. Pics please. ASAP.

Having the rears done the same colour (disc centres too). Rears are having the casting marks smoothed first.

Right choice of colour, after black. IMO. Looks like a good job.
Surprised you didn't mask off the mating face of the disk, though.

It's not me doing the work. It's 'the brake specialists'

I like, where did you get them done and if you don't mind me asking, how much?
