Blimey,

Glad to hear you and your passengers are basically unscathed.

Not nice to see the aftermath of such a thing but I guess the car has done its job of looking after you which is whats important.

Good luck with Sky/chaucer

Mitchy PSS... not great in standing water... or the cold. Gutting result either way.
No matter where you go, there you are.

I'm not surprised really - the front of the car looks pretty intact so it's not had a massive deceleration impact. It's a balancing act the designers have to attempt. Airbags are a one off single magic bullet so you have to be pretty sure you're going to activate them at the best time.
Trees look pretty small so I'd imagine "brisk" slowing down rather than instant crunch.
Good to hear all ok though and the car did it's job when you needed it.

Much better the car is damaged rather than you. I will be interested in seeing what the insurance pay up, I doubt it will be over £10k :(

That's awful news chap. Obviously as everyone who went to the show knows the conditions in the area were horrendous, seeing the pictures of your car is harrowing.

Good news is that you and the passengers are ok not too badly damaged, lets hope the insurance pays out, you may end up with Amars old car eh!

Sorry to see the end of your car but as people have mentioned before, both the passengers and you are alive and well. That's what really matters.

Hope the insurance companies play ball and you can find another RS to get into.

Sorry to hear your news , but glad your all OK :)

Unless you have a specialist policy with a specialist insurer, they will try and pay you book price minus a bit , forget the 'market value' terminology that's
their way of hyping up 'book price'
Stafford Audi have a plus with warranty atm on Autotrader, may well be worth getting a screen shot of that ready for the argument with the insurers.
also gather info on non plus low mileage cars to back your case up that yours is worth more as a plus model ( some high priced non plus cars around atm)

Glad you and the passengers are ok mate and others have said, that's the main thing.

I love the Daytona Plus's, they look awesome. I'm absolutely gutted for you.

Would also be interested to see what the insurance people will pay out if you don't mind sharing.

GUtted for you mate but equally glad everyone is ok...

I too would be interested in how your claim goes, not just in the settlement figure but how they deal with you overall... Sadly you only know how good an insurance company is when you put a claim in, this will be a good test for a forum Sponsor... especially as my policy is up for renewal very soon...
