But a mapped RS6 is like a totally different car, DO IT, DO IT, DO IT, DO IT..............

This is what I like about this forum, someone comes on and ask's a question then doesn't reply for ages :bash:
I've been busy earning money for the petrol fund!! :biggrin3:

My old RS6 was serviced, tuned and had the DRC replaced by West Tuning, but I stopped using them after one of their drivers logged 157mph in my car's HUD on public roads (yes, really). Ray West's reply was it must have been faulty (yeah, sure, the only time in 7 years I had it installed in my cars - which I did point out!). LOL.

The tune was fine but now-a-days I would look to MRC or Unit 20, IMHO of course.

Reminds me of National Tyres in Farnborough, who I used to use for all my cars when I worked over there as they would do whatever custom work I wanted. The cheeky feckers went out joyriding in them every single time. I got overtaken once by my own sodding car with a couple of the employees in it having a hoon!

In the end I just made sure that the engine was warmed up as much as possible when leaving the cars with them as even the fecking boss did it, claiming it was a road test. They did too much work for me for beer money so I turned a blind eye to it as the cars could handle it.

No way would I tolerate that these days!

I have seen plenty of Audi cars being 'taken for a test drive' by the local dealership to work. There is a great stretch of duel carriageway that they blast up and down in, normally with a 2 passengers :audibash:

It's brilliant. I think we should all adopt it. Might need to vote a new rule in.
