£800 for the cambelt, is that a special deal?

AMD are doing the cambelt kit for £800 fitted.

They quoted on here £1000 but as the engine is out I haggled a bit.

£400 for the service is a estimate but tbh all the service items are being done when the engine comes out so really it's only a oil change!

Not touching the ARBs just yet, will do that myself. Just want to get all the big jobs out the way so I can enjoy the car without pending bills looming.

This is why I got the car cheap, but that's fine. 13k for a hassle free RS6, won't find many like this for that price at present.
Sounds perfect, enjoy the car when you get it back :beerchug:

Just different mate. Its way more lairy, and a tad quicker (507bhp in the Merc) but obviously its not as nimble as the M5. Its very much like a smaller RS6 with a better chassis and awesome sound.

Ive only had it since Jan and only done 520 miles. So thats 2 sets of rears already. Ha! No, not really that bad.

I had the tracking adjusted last week as i got new tread on the car. Instead of the 5k average that the standard set up brings the rears should now see over 10k. No change to the handling either. Its just as sideways as it was before.

Nice!

Always had a soft spot for the AMGs! Had a E series AMG tourer a few years ago, 2005 reg. Nice car but by god did it drink the fuel.

Gave her a good clean today. Still needs more work but the interior is done, just need to give the leather one more going over next weekend than I will be happy.

There are a couple of interior pieces I'm not happy with, just ordered a used climate control unit with no worn buttons, also a new light switch as this one is worn through.
