I dont agree. The wood looks and feels much better than the cheap and nasty tacky carbon fibre look. But, we all have our own taste and some of us are happy with what we have. It took me 2 years to find mine with the colour and spec I wanted and hand on heart, I have never had any problem whatsoever with it. Having said that, I've only done around 4k since August 2009. Now that I've had to dismantle the air chamber I had it stored in, I might just start driving it a little more. Sh**te, I think I went off topic a bit!

Well, even the original carbon fiber trim is just a plastic base with one layer of carbon on the top. And I am not sure if a wood trim is made out of the real wood.
As you said, everyone has different taste, and if a wrap imitation looks OK, then why not?
