2x New turbos £6k?
A Brand new gearbox £6k?
2x New Heads £5k?

and a lot more on Mooch's RS 6 without a quibble.

All for what works out at £533 a year and it comes with free roadside/homestart. How the heck ain't that a good deal? I'd be crazy NOT to go for it. I wouldn't bother with a frickin Yaris, new engine for £150.00 and Jap reliability!
Oops we must of posted at the same time....Up to you AMAR...I'm not trying to be a smart c*nt...just a realistic one...I think I covered the Mooch pay out in my post...

i have gone into this with my eyes open and whilst it isn't oem warranty .the cliche of the proof is in the pudding has shown time and time again that they pay out. whilst a slush fund is a good idea and whilst i could have conceivably run the car this way..my wife quite understandably would much prefer me spending 5000 on her or the both of us or the house then a gearbox. They are all in it to make money but some are better then others and probably why they insist on the inspection and reinspection should any remedial work be needed before warrantying . I agree they ardent stupid but by the same vein neither are those that have chosen to invest in a reputable product as cost inefficient as it may appear to be.

I agree ..i did my research and came to the conclusion that warranty direct were not to be touched with a barge pole. i have gone for the more expensive inchcape audi option which although isn't oem fo have a consistent history of paying out.

Warranty direct are £750 a year
Inchape with roadside/home start £533 a year if you pay the £1599 three years upfront

Decent roadside assistance with homestart/relay is probably £60 a year anyway so Inchape works out at £473 a year. They have a proven record of paying out unlike WD and as the booklet clearly states the gearbox etc is covered just the threat of small claims court should make them pay up.

Inchape warranty is a wise decision when your running an old Audi RS 6. I'm completely the opposite to you and would bother on a Yaris.

Also, I reckon I could ask for another £1k asking price with a 2/3 year warranty. Not that I'm selling.

Worst case it would make it much more desirable. I think the sprint blue will make it stand out alone. Anyway, enough talk about selling, I ain't selling. I don't even know why I mentioned it. :?

It is coming out at £4,418 for 36 months cover though, thats £2819 more then Inchape for three years. Too much for me. How much are you paying/paid?

That was for a quote from warrantywise, Amar?
If so, then sounds like they've gone up a lot since I took mine out with them (think it was about £1,300 for 2 years...), although is up for renewal shortly - hence why I'm following this thread quite closely! :D
Seem to recall they point blank refuse to cover modified cars, though, so another consideration (for now or in the future)...
