I got mine from Maverick Technologies
http://www.mavericktechnology.co.uk/pro ... vagcom-pro
Althoug I certainly didn't pay that much.
They (Ross Tech the manufacturers of Vagcom or VCDS as it's now known) have an excellent site with full interactive tutorial etc.
It is worth spending time looking through this and understanding the software.
It can be very useful if you know what you are looking at. If you don't it will just be a bunch of numbers. Just using it to scan and pull fault codes is a waste. It's real talent lies in plugging up and driving round logging data real time for you to be able to play back and analyse. All data is exported in excel format or can be launched with the inlcuded scope. This feature is nice because each peice of data can be visualised as an analogue gauge.

I find Vagcom excellent

Get some NGK PFR7Q. This is the OEM plug and you'll be able to get it elsewhere MUCH cheaper than at Audi.
Daytona RS6 C5 Avant. Viper'd, Billies, Waggers, MTM box brain, C6 stoppers, xcarlink, R8 coolant cap (woohoo)
///M3 E46 | XC90 (V8, natch) | Passat GTE | RR Classic V8 flapper
