There is also an app for iphone called wikango.

Same principle as coyote, except its free (it doesn't use much web data either, so your mobile bill won't explode).

Otherwise, it is the same principles as ever, any cars (they have normal cars with radars installed in them) stopped onthe roadside is a potential problem/trap, the police bikers are there to stop you after you've been pinged by a hidden plod or by themselves (also hidden) so be wary of rest areas or exit/entrance ramps with trees.

Reduce speeds before tolls, from at least 10kms beforehand.

That said, I have just spent a week there and I did not see many plods, less than I expected after the latest speech from the <beep> in charge.

Yeah, Wikango isn't bad, but i don't know how much / how often it downloads and data roaming charges are prohibitive. My iphone has a dodgy GPS antenna I think so wikango only works occasionally. More importantly, I don't know when it's stopped working so can't trust it

Had a great weekend. Lots of RS's in action on and off the track (only spotted one other C5 though).

And an audi win! Looks like some cars they build are reliable :audibash: :)

Even managed a run out on some sections on the Sunday night.

Lots......highlight being a GT3 through the tunnels in Rouen :thumb:

Only to come out of the tunnel and be surrounded by le plod (about 8 bikes) A pants full :dung: moment, as we had just come through pretty quick. They just had a good look at the silly stickers and drove off :jump_clap:

The run out to Mulsanne on Sunday was great, highly recommend it if you make it next year. Unfortunately I struggled against the Porsche turbo s in the pic :notworthy: An amazing piece of kit, and the noise it makes is fantastic.

I bet the F40 was good fun, well done on getting him going. Most fezzers we passed didn't want to play.

Nice one. Yeo the F40 driver was up for it, but did not blame him if he did not want too as there mega expensive.
