How much torque!!!

Wife has VW Touareg 3.0 V6TDi and looking at replacement.............the R50 version is V10 with 627 lb/ft of torque!!

we had a demo one when they came out new.

I was going to write that its dull as ditchwater but thats a little unfair. I just felt it was uninspiring.

All that torque comes with little rev-range.

Good quality car and build, It's just a bit anodyne.

But with 2 kids in child seats (Recaro's ) & room for 2 others + driver is great car.
Loads in the boot, great for trips to France and impressive driving past stuck traffic on A23 in a foot of snow last year.

R Rover Sports looks cheap, X5 like a drug dealer, R Rover too dear and Q7 so so ugly
So little out there

I think 2 RS6 Avants in the house is just plain greedy!

Also could not stand to see the state it would end up in with 2 kids in it every day, just too sad
