watch out for wear and tear exclusions. Best to compare terms and conditions side by side. The difference is always in the small print! What hourly labour rate will they allow?
RE: CLICK4WARRANTY... SO CHEAP???!!
At that price it's worth a go .. But lets see what they say when a £2k bill comes there way ..

RE: CLICK4WARRANTY... SO CHEAP???!!
Hi guys and girls,
After 29 years of exclusively driving Alfa Romeos, I bought a Mugello Blue RS6 estate with Bilsteins last month, and I'm loving it! I have never been enamoured with German cars in general, having driven various Porsches and Mercs (my wife's E Class is so boring to drive) but the RS6 feels very special. The steering is far better than I expected, compared to previous Audis I'd driven - the engine, gearbox and traction are incredible. I still lust after a Maserati Quattroporte, but I'm now so impressed with the RS6, I think I will have to have both, hehehe!
Anyway, back to the topic at hand. I purchased a Click4warranty for 2 years. Don't forget to add the 4 wheel drive and ABS options. For my 97K mile car, it would have been close to £500 for one year, but just under £750 for 2 years with £5000 limit. After reading how much gearbox replacements can cost, I might be upping this to £7000 for about another £50. Yes, there is a wear & tear clause which means you have to pay 50% of the repair costs on wear and tear failures if the mileage is over 100K, but there is NO wear and tear exclusion. I think it's a fair policy and much cheaper than some others.

RE: CLICK4WARRANTY... SO CHEAP???!!
best thing is do a google search for any horror stories on payouts. Warranty wise are not cheap but have honoured their side of the bargain many times for me. Its all about payment history for me.
RE: CLICK4WARRANTY... SO CHEAP???!!
I rang them and went through everything with them. They answered all my questions correctly
, I'm even tempted by this warranty.

RE: CLICK4WARRANTY... SO CHEAP???!!
lets face it if the terms are clear and you are happy then why not? You have always got your rights to fall back on if they fail to pay a legitimate claim
RE: CLICK4WARRANTY... SO CHEAP???!!
This does seem too good to be true.........
I'm with Warranty Direct who have so far been almost without fault but at twice this price.
As others have said it all depends on how fairly and promptly they deal with claims.
Don't forget you have TWO Turbo chargers...........
I think the main things to worry about are the box and the engine.
If there was a warranty which just covered them for a reasonable price it would be worth knowing about.

what did you ask them; for example my rs6 has 70k on the clock and if i get the £7000 cover policy and my gearbox goes; would they let me get it fixed at mrc with original parts from audi?RS6Steve wrote:I rang them and went through everything with them. RE: Re: RE: CLICK4WARRANTY... SO CHEAP???!!
Just had a look, according to the t&c's you would have to pay 40% excess of any claim, so if your gearbox goes it's still going to cost you over 2k
I'm tempted though as at my mileage the excess is only 20%
This is for wear and tear, which i'm sure they'd try and class the gearbox as.

Re: RE: CLICK4WARRANTY... SO CHEAP???!!
In answer to your question, yes I believe so. He did remind me that I should read the claims procedure because that's where people fall down! I did and basically you have to call them and get everything agreed NOT the garage.RS60786 wrote:what did you ask them; for example my rs6 has 70k on the clock and if i get the £7000 cover policy and my gearbox goes; would they let me get it fixed at mrc with original parts from audi?RS6Steve wrote:I rang them and went through everything with them. RE: Re: RE: CLICK4WARRANTY... SO CHEAP???!!
Just got a quote for my RS4 - £500 compared to the next cheapest (Warranty Direct) at £800. Am definitely tempted but does sound too good to be true. Anyone experience a claim payout from these guys?

After asking whether the DRC was covered under their 5 star package.
"Dear Jon,
Notifying customer if specific part is covered
Thank you for your enquiry regarding the components covered by our Click4Warranty Mechanical Breakdown Insurance.
Unfortunately, our underwriters have now confirmed that the Dynamic Ride Control is not a listed component under the terms of our warranty cover and therefore any claim relating to this part will not be authorised.
Unlike many warranty providers, we steer away from broad statements about the parts covered by our policies. To describe cover as ‘all mechanical and electrical components’ really means that, if you want to be sure a part is covered, you need to laboriously work out what really is excluded.
Instead, you will see our terms and conditions comprehensively list the insured parts and, quite simply, if a part isn’t listed it isn’t covered... If it is listed, then the part is covered!
For clear information and a full list of the parts insured under each level of cover Click Here
We hope this e-mail has provided a clear answer to your question, however if you require further clarification please reply with your specific requirements and we will do our best to research and provide an answer for you as soon as possible.
