Problem with cars like these, is everyone likes to think they're worth more than they really are while they own them, but come sale time, end up dissapointed that they either can't find a buyer or they have to in their eyes take a 2k hit on the price.
I've been looking for an Rs6 for a while, and all the ones that are well priced sell within days, all those that are over priced never sell, or at least take months with several price decreases along the way.
I missed out on a 2003 55k saloon the other week, it was up for a shade under 15k and had just had the cambelt, brakes, tyres and gearbox done, full service history and only 2 owners.
Then you see a 2003 80k+ car up for sale with none of the above work done apart from service history for 15k, and the owners wondering why his doesn't sell.
I've decided to sit tight and wait for a realistic one to come along
I might change my mind once i own one though
