Thanks ecain, now we have the full set of photos.

Personally, I'm in for the aluminum so will try Virdee. I just hope its nowhere near the £1k price tag I saw elsewhere on this forum.

Get some Liquid Leather on your bolsters boys... failing that, hemorrhoid cream might sooth your hanging grapes.

Piano Black
Carbon Fibre
Aluminum
Gold plated

Photos valued of course.
Just remove all your existing wooden trims and hand them into a bodyshop for them to be painted black and then laquered.
You will get the same result as Piano Black for a fraction of the cost...

@ecain63: nice to see that there are more fans of the Pioneer satnav system! I have it in my company car and it is by far the best system I have ever experienced. Better than most (if not all) factory systems, especially because of the touchscreen and operating speed.

Did you have any issues installing it in the RS6? What about the frame surrounding it. Is it available or has it been custom made?

+ 1

It does seem the easiest route, I wouldn't be surprised if Alu trim cost "rotsa dorrah". Black piano looks very good, if a bodyshop could match the quality then it's a no brainer.

So long as you get the correct Bose (front and rear) harness its an easy fit. I had mine installed by a local specialist and inc the parts (facia and adapter) it was around £90. Top peice of kit.

Now that's a damn good call! Shame as I had set my mind on aluminum after seeing the photo earlier but may as well try that route as who in their right mind wants a 'walnut dash' anyway.

Virdee...if you're out there and do actually sell what you claim on your sig, last chance saloon to reply to my PM... :sleeping_2:
