RS6 added to current s4

Post by smileygiley » Wed Aug 25, 2010 8:40 pm

Just bought a 2004 (47,000mi) RS6, but am loathe to part with my S4 (yellow-wish this was available for the RS6!!)..the latter feels a bit more intimate....will I come to love the RS6 in time?
Main point is I'm not overly keen on its anthracite alloys, would someone like to swap for normal 19" ers...I don't see the black wheels as an option in the 2003 price catalogue on this site..was this a later option or standard on the last on the production run?
What are others' views on these wheels?
Glad to meet you all :D
PS Someone has suggested that athracite wheels came on the plus model..is there a way to tell if this was one of them or a later adaption by a previous owner?

The only vehicle I'd go to Phipps Bridge in would be a Chieftain MBT (I used to be in the Royal Tank Regiment!)...actually no..Chieftain would be bound to break down in the middle of it and the roadwhells would have dissapeared before the ARV arrived!!!
Phil, do you want to set a time/place to meet, I'm usually free.
Pity hospitals for cars aren't available free on the NHS!! :D

I've broken down!!!! Oil and tyre pressure light came on and when I stopped after 1/2 mile, the car's stuck in neutral and the key won't come out of the ignition!! What's up? :(
