You need to market it with the Unit 20 connection.

There is a big difference between Joe Average's tuned RS6 and the Grizzmobile.

A tad off the selling topic Grizz, but........

Post by chriswebb9 » Fri Apr 09, 2010 12:40 am

Hi Grizz, whilst your still technically with the C5 clan, can I just ask what happened to your car, which warranted changing the gearbox?

The reason I ask, is in 2 weeks time my C5 will be out of it's 3 Audi Warranty I had as part of my purchase. I've always had a little niggle with the way my box performs up n down the box, some forum members have suggested a remap - I'd just like any clues as to what signs there are prior to one needing changing?

Obviously worst case with auto's is no gear at all, or no changing gear, but are there any tell tales such as clunking up n down?

I'm sorely tempted to drive up from South Wales to compare cars just for referencing. However, e-mailing can be more convenient.

Any advice would be appreciated - and from any other member who's had a new box.

Regards,
CW

I know Grizz will want to sell his car at some point and get a newer one.... we all would... BUT Grizz's RS6 is a 1 off.... how do you put a price on that?

with what your spending on it ( circa 10K) as listed earlier then if I was you I would keep it as a play thing and as a business attraction.

Since you told me what your planning on next  8) its a good idea and future advertising venture for the future success of Unit 20 and also your fun.

All the best with the sale Grizz.....JUST WISH I could have it :boohoo:

I'd renew your warranty if I were you..mega expensive yes, but so are 7 year old RS 6's to maintain ! esp with worries over a gearbox !
