@corkey: HOw can the fronts be cheaper than the rears?
the grizzmeister did em...think they need a small spacer as the offset is ever so slightly out - but otherwise piece of p**s

I took em to my local indy only for them to confidently say "sir your discs dont fit, they are the wrong discs for your car...your car isnt made by Audi, its made by Quattro and its handmade" and proceeded to quote me £650 !

bunch of twats

David: how come you went for Phaeton rears rather than just the RS6plus drilled ones? Are they bigger? Better? Cheaper?

Those figures were given to me by the service desk, and were for the pair...

They do have web site - check out :-

Not all dealerships are included in the program by the look of it.. I'm booked for next Tuesday, for a rolling road checkup, so I'll be able to confirm pricing then...

Also, can someone please tell what mods are necessary for the Phaeton rear disks.

Sorry - I got a tad delayed. The car goes in tomorrow morning - £930 for front discs and pads. I'm getting the wheels refurbed at the same time - so should be able to provide an update some time Thursday..

Only 1 day late - I am improving :)

Well I picked the car up yesterday, and was really impressed with Reading Audi proffessional service.. The total bill was a lot more than expected, but then I did have a service, and various other bits and bobs done while the cars was with them.

Prices are as follows :-

Front Discs (drilled) £247 + vat each. Labor - £93 +vat.
Rear Discs (non drilled) £214 + vat each. Labor - £170 + vat.

These prices include the Audi Advantage discount. I hope this helps..

Corkey.

Just out of interest, was there a particular reason you went for non-drilled rears?
I recently had mine fitted by Grizz, but went for drilled all round.

No real reason.. The front were drilled when I purchased the car, so I just replaced like for like. I did realize that drilled discs weren't standard on the RS6, and in retrospect, probably should have put drilled on the rear too... Have you noticed any difference having drilled all round ?.
