If I start off or am coasting and then accelerate very slowly, there is a slight clunk sound - just once. I notice on the above post by Jonny11 about he had his propshaft replaced. Could this clunk I have be play in the prop or something else. Just wonder if its something to worry about/get checked out now as a preventative measure.

I've just got an ACE upgraded converter installed but will post news later as it is a story and a half!

That is a cool motor you have there....


Also it is a good refence point when I am there asking silly things about the rs6 engine, and there is one out of a car on the workshop floor

Mine made that noise like something engaging at exactly 1250/ 1280RPM turns out it's the timing chain on the back of the motor.
