Where did that come from? I've got both the Avant user manual and the saloon one. The weights in the manual are

1915Kg for the saloon
1955Kg for the avant

Has anyone got a plus manual to look in? I think this whole things is just about wikipedia disinformation (like the hill start capability ;))

Hmmmm...! Interesting!

On most sites, it lists the kerb weight of the RS6 as being 1865kg..

Gets weirder by the minute.. Carfolio shows 1840 for the saloon, 1865 for the Avant and the plus..

It may seem that the very definition of 'kerbweight' may differ..

But one thing is for certain - my car weighs 1940kg but strangely, the manual states the kerbweight as 1955kg (poss. the coilovers are 15kg lighter than DRC shocks?).

Could it be that the kerbweights listed on various sites are in fact the dryweights??? If so, they all need correcting!!

Could be. Or they could be A6 weights. Many times "journalists" don't bother to differentiate.

Well I feel a bit better now! My 'plus' doesn't seem so lardy anymore! (by comparison that is  ).

Was really beginning to feel at a disadvantage tbh!!!

But, like I said, there is a possibility that VAG include various things in that kerbweight figure, but again I got this info from another discussion about the kerbweight of a VW Passat. Someone posted that 'ze germans specify kerbweights slightly differently' - I have no idea whether this is true or not.

I havn't checked, but I seem to recall form a good while back, that the sticker in the tyre well of your car will list all the options fitted (via codes) and will also list a specific weight for your car with its options.

worth a look?
