Have I missed something ? £85 for wiper blades is this just the rubber of the whole wiper head ? Do you need to replace the whole wiper head ? Need new on mine - front and rear so interested. Thanks

Yes, that will be for the arms and blades too (just the fronts I would imagine though).

Alex, did you change the rear wiper to Aero too?

The standard ones (from the earlier cars IIRC) had a tendancy to lift up at motorway or higher speeds.

It was posted on here a while back, thatb the ebay Aero blades seemed to be of low quality and didn't last very long.

Back when I used to drive a Mk iv Spitfire, the wipers stopped working, I rubbed a cut potato on the screen, works a treat, the water just runs off!

ok just had a look at fleabay, i think it is the 24hr dispatch company, i called the chap and gave him the run down on the car and what i needed. anyhoo 2 x 22ins for the front and 1 x 15in for rear all seems fine at the mo, and we have had some hell of a rain in scotland. FX BLADES is the name of them ,they do a conversion for our cars , comes allready to fit just open conversion slide hook through and bobs your uncle
