ride height

Post by rstrysull » Fri Jul 03, 2009 12:03 pm

I had the full H&R kit fitted about a month ago, but looking at the car last night it seems to be sitting quite a bit lower on the ass end than the front--is this normal. I attach a couple of pics taken this morning.

First spotted it on a level surface at the motorway services last night on my way back from Bristol. I was walking towards the car from the back and thought it looked really low. When you look at the side of the car you can see that the body looks a lot higher off the tyre on the front than the back. Are you saying there is a 'settling in' period for the H&R's?
I don't remember it looking like this when the conversion was done.

Yep, when it was fitted I was told it would settle and would possibly need adjustment. Left it about 4 weeks / 1,000 miles ish..

Initally mine was set lowish but after leaving it, it settled even lower!.. After an adjustment and wheel alignment it's now spot on me thinks..
