RONSEAL AND UNIT 20
I have just had my DRC replaced at Unit 20.
I would just like to say a big thank you to Grizz and Lee (in particular, for "just doing his job") and to Grizz for being extremely open and very helpful. What a refreshing change, being around these gentleman whilst they did their work was a pleasure.
You know when someone is extremeely skilled and totally comfortable with what they are doing and when you compare the attitude and application at Unit 20 to the behind closed doors efforts of the dealerships, there is no way that I will be taking my car back to an Audi dealer.
The car is a different animal now, the grip is now limited by the adhesion between the tyres and the road surface rather than leaving you guessing when the DRC will skip you into the adjacent lane.
Unit 20, does exactly what it says on the tin. Very, very happy.
Thanks guys.

There"'s some kind of motorised bicycle blocking the view of that nice audi.

good results by the sound of it
did you go H&R ?
did you go H&R ?
RE: BICYCLE
Yup, that's the one. It looks horribly fast. Did you give up on the Audi fixing the DRC then? What was the straw that broke the donkey's back?

RE: RONSEAL AND UNIT 20
I couldn't get any joy from Audi and then tried to get AutoProtect to sort it, they said basically that their warranty didn't cover parts that had come to the end of their useful life. So with the MOT looming and a ride like a cart i decided to get the inevitable done at my cost.
The battle with Audi and AutoProtect now commences to get my money back, rather than trying to get them tyo pay for it. Everything takes so long when you're trying to get decisions out of organisations.
Back on now, barrister is chomping at the bit and i have a financial ombudsman that is going to have a loomk at the warranty company's view of things.

Yeah, it's a war of attrition. They'll try to wear you down and hope you give up.Ironside-69 wrote:The battle with Audi and AutoProtect now commences to get my money back, rather than trying to get them tyo pay for it. Good. Good luck with that.Ironside-69 wrote:Back on now, barrister is chomping at the bit and i have a financial ombudsman that is going to have a loomk at the warranty company's view of things.

Have a ride out, it's worth it.
They are fast, mine is one of the originals beofre they nuetred it slightly. i have the akropovic exhaust and power commander, K&N air filters etc. It is great fun. There are so many occasions where you get flashed by oncoming traffic who are judging your speed by theirs, ten seconds later they pass by embarrassed.
Do you want it? Great value, one careful owner.

Only had the one owner, don't know about the suicidal bit. If I'm bored with the 6 I take the bike out for a spin.
