AUDI RS6 DRC PROBLEM. WHAT SUSPENSION DO YOU RECOMMEND

Post by RS6AVANTWALES » Tue Apr 28, 2009 3:08 pm

Hi I'm a new user here and have bought an RS6 with the dreaded DRC problem. I am not going to put the audi system back on, and want to know what is the best make to put on the audi for road use. would anyone know any good supliers. what has this cost you?
Any help would be great.
Thanks Paul

If you do a quick search, you'll find a lot of discussion. Bilstein, H&R, KWv3 seem to be the choices, there are even stickies related to them.

I have KW v3, and they are highly adjustable, but this makes set up tricky.

As you're (possibly) in Wales, Unit20 who are round Ellesmere Port can talk you through the options.

I have Bilsteins PSS9 which have 9 settings and therefore easier to setup . Unit 20 and Grizz highly recommended and probably closest. I used MRC in Banbury whom are excellent. good luck

get yourself to grizz , H&R's with Hotchkiss ARB's , bloody marvellous , though a little hard on bad road surfaces . More than makes up for it in the bends

I have Bilstein PSS9 and very pleased. Worth getting adjustable to suit your needs and road type but I opted for Bilstein as they have 9 settings rather than infinite (like KW). Hard to compare brands as you only fit them once!

I believe Demon Tweeks keep both the KW's and Bilstein's on the shelf.

When I phoned, they offered me next day delivery or the option to collect from the Wrexham shop that day. I spoke to Paul (01978 663025), who told me that due to demand, they now stock both kits on the shelf.

We have another Pss9 kit in stock for the RS6. The damping is superb for road use.

You get what you pay for with suspension kits. Ohlins anyone? :)
