Totally different types of car. Had both and you cant compare.

S8 would cruise all day 120mph + and you would not know you had driven 1000 miles. I took mine all over France, Germany and over the Alps to Italy.

The RS6 just wants to be driven hard all the time and wipe the floor with everything. I also don't agree you need low mileage. It could have sat about our just been oiled up driving around town. Mine has done 90k, been Grizzed and is sweet as a nut and I know the key work has been done.

Oh yes. My previous car was an S8 (albeit the D2 platform) and was a true joy to drive. It was a 'final edition' D2 S8 and the only reason I got rid was because I was in the very fortunate position to buy the RS6plus with only 10k on the clock. I absolutely loved it and very much missed it for a good while until I had gotten used to the RS6+. The S8 needed to be revved more but the RS6+ is just sooooooo laaaaaaaaaazy in it's delivery. If money became a real squeeze, then I would go back to looking for a D2 S8 as I loved it so much and was much cheaper to run. It was more comfortable, lighter, had 360hp and was hardly any slower than the 6. Only thing missing was the road presense; something that an RS6 has in spades.

HTH.

I'd consider any car to be low mileage if its at (or below) 10k miles p/a. As long as you have a service history bristling with the right stamps you should have no problem whatsoever. Its an Audi!
