Got sent info about these from a 'friend' in the trade, no official launch date yet, but he says 'retail' units should be ready for the end of this year.

Made by Michelin, and tested in California in feb

Say goodbye to stingers and flat tyres!! lol

That was my initial thought, but was told that these where the 'mock-ups' and they will be made with same size specs as standard tyres, so in essence, 255/35/19 will be made, just have smaller 'spokes' in the tyres

Those photos are from at least Feb '07 when I saw them on the Fouritude site so I dunno whether they've got any closer to releasing them.

Yes i agree, but not as annoying as buying new tyres and getting a puncture 2 days later (twice for me now :/)

Great for the security/CP industry, better than the conventional run flat system, and yes I do agree, UGLY!

no they dont ringo, but i think you can fit a lolly pop stick to get an 'authentic' motorbike sound just like I did on the bmx I had when I was 6 lol
