I could be talking cr@p but I think we are more flexible regarding some upgrades, for instance, because they have to have TÜV approval, MTM will not do any ECU upgrades for cars that are decatted, whereas we do if so the customer wishes, and we also offer different gearbox remap options, the most popular being the one that allows an almost totally manual control in Tiptronic mode, which enables you to run 5th gear at 30mph for instance...

MTM are good at what they do and we can't say anything negative about them and their work, however, we offer a few more options for each car, because we prefer to do more custom work and most of the times suits the customers better.

Another thing is that QST is MTM's dealer, which there is nothing wrong about, but we do our own tuning and develop our own kits 100%, so we are not limited to what "our boss" tells us to do :)

Milltek exhausts could be expensive but you cannot fault their quality, now of course if you compare them to cheap chinese exhausts from Ebay, yeah, they are more expensive, but they do fit perfectly, which can't be said about any system out there... ;)

As to QSTv MRC, MRC will give you far more bang for your buck in my opinion. QST will charge you £1200 for a chip, that will give you 500hp. I cannot speak for the figures from MRC, but do know that the "same stage" map is more than a match for the QST job, and you have the comfort of knowing that the map is custom to your car.
I have a Custom Code map as you all probably know, and it produces great results, and at less than half the cost of a QST map- the only thing is it is a generic map, that has been developed for the RS6 in general , down side- no gearbox map- its on my list of things to do. Grizz did my map for me, as he does all my bits, but I would have no qualms in recomending MRC to anyone- the reputation speaks or its self, but on the same level, if you are happy with a generic map ( I am happy with mine at the present- 510 hp 560ftlbs with a total de cat and milltek), i would also not dismiss CC as a viable option.
As for milltek... You get what you pay for. The best cost money, and they cost money to fit, every one needs to make money, and its a fair market, if you shop around, you can save a few quid, but to my mind, why scrimp on your pride and joy?

 No wonder they all throw in free fitting! I might become a Milltek agent myself, and sell the catbacks on here for 600 pounds a go. lol

Yep must be some good markup for so many to sell them.

Plus they always go 10% promo's on, and as said free fitting!
