hello and Welcome!

Yes to all of the above.

19" and H&Rs is no problem.
I had mine set for a while at 75mm. The tops of the tyres were up inside the arches, and it ran no problem- and i live on a farm!
sounds like the box is knackerd.
yes its very expensive- sorry! Mine was £8000 to replce by Audi.
It's all Bollox.
Half of what you read is bull and the other half is all <beep>.

Just had mine done two weeks ago under warranty at Audi Worcester and asked for a photocopy of the invoice that they sent to the warranty company for my records.

Gearbox £2550.61+vat
Misc bits (Oil, gaskets etc..) £110.62+vat
Labour £2404.50+vat

So in all, if I didnt have the warranty I would of had a bill for just over £5,800.

I have H&R's on mine sitting at 70mm. Although I don't get any rub or grounding I think it'll look better a bit higher. I'll be changing it soon.

I also had what appeared to be TC problems (snatching, slipping, vicious kick downs) which started in the cold weather. A gear box service has sorted it out. It now functions perfectly. I doubt most people will be as lucky but it cost £300 which is worth trying before you spend £5.5k ;)

MRC

It was supposed to have been done in 2007 by Slough Audi but it looks like they hadn't done it properly as the sump was lose and the fluid was pretty dark.
