Finally getting to show off my RS6

Post by ibby » Thu Jul 31, 2008 12:24 am

Hello everyone,

I've been a member for a while now, actually since I bought my RS6 back in March.

Golfather may remember seeing me when my friend was taking a look at his S6.

Anyway thats anther story.

The reason it has taken me a while to show the motor off is the number plate had been cloned and had been put on an RS6 that was stolen back in february.

But thats all starting to blow over so now its time to show off the car.

Absolutely love the car. Have come from driving an Evo so the difference is amazing.

The car has only done 24k and there are no signs of DRC problems yet.

I didnt think I would ind something as quick as the Evo but this thing pulls in a completely different way....Like a train....

So got a few plans to start. RNS-E, Milltek and Re-map but I'm gonna try and enjoy what I've got for now

Here's how she looks.

Hello mate !
How you doing?
Welcome to the forum
Yep I full well remember, your cars absolutely MINT. Absolutley stunning in Avus.
Never seen a cleaner RS6...
And you got it for a bargain price too!
Infact I hate you for it as ever since I've been wanting another one too, this time in Saloon.

Wait till you get a remap, it'll blow your pants off!
And let me know if interested in the Milltek and RNS-E, I'm sure I can sort you out with a deal :)

Where do you put the Dog and the kids ?

very clean though. I like the dark interior as mine is silver leather.
RS6 C5 05 plate very tidy.
Past.... Only have 500 characters ! RR Sport X 2 Nice but boring RS6 C5 03 Sold due to losing 25K of value in 12 months of ownership !
Still have a 72 GT6 and a few Big Bikes....

Thanks guys.

I'm really really pleased with it.

Apart from the Sat Nav which drove me nuts the other day. Its so slow and didn't have half of the roads I was looking for, but hey it such a good car to get lost in just an excuse to keep driving it.

Dont worry mate I'll be in touch soon.

I dont want to dip into my DRC replacement fund just yet as there's no warranty to back me up.

So it will be on with a set of coilovers if, sorry I mean when that happens,

but I guess thats grizzs' department.
