Hi I had my old X5 remapped and he seemed a decent guy.
You couldn't really tell if it had more power but he stated I'd only get an extra 15 BHP which isn't much.

its possible! I belive i could see near 580-600bhp off just mapping the car! But whether the car will be reliable or even do another 1000 miles without showing signs of a major problem is another thing. I really want to have a play but i dont want the cost when it goes wrong. My problem is i dont know nothing about the standard ecu or how to write a new map for it. I do plan to change the ecu or at least piggy back the ecu with a motech ecu that i do know how to use, but again this is big money!

Anyway i would book a rolling road session and let them have a play at getting there claimed figure . If they dont want to do this then you know that they are speaking rubbish. Make sure they are insured also against damage to your car.

e-maps have a very good reputation on the BMW scene not sure about VAG stuff. If his file supplier can remap the latest BMs no reason why he cant do a good job on VAG. Great value for money
BMW 540i
2018 GTR
F90 M5
X3MC
RS3 Saloon
RS7 FL best car I've owned. No faith in turbo oil screen (turbos failing) or sticking oil scraper ring causing missfires.
F10 M5 LCI still no rear grip lol
S7 black Edition Too big and heavy
S3 8V FL DSG 310ps, road noise is a joke
RS3 8P Rubbish
C7 RS6 Fantastic car but missed playing
GTR R35 800bhp, too extreme, crazy fast though
911 Turbo Remapped. Hated it
F10 M5, awesome but no rear grip
RS6 V10 700BHP crazy
Porsche Cayenne Turbo S 600bhp
