Any idea what this is?

Post by MalcolmSu » Sat Mar 08, 2008 4:06 pm

I found this in the glove compartment of the RS6 I bought last weekend. Any ideas where it belongs? Is it even off this car?!

on the back there's a Jan '03 manufactured stamp, two large FF's in a script font and then 223 768 ABS...

agree it's similar but that's not it... Door in the arm rest is present - although the first aid kit that should be behind it (?) isn't. :(

don't think so - my pump seems to be in a lght grey self contained box in the boot... I'm slowly coming to the conclusion that it's not off this car and just happens to have been left by the previous owner in the glove box.

Just throw it away. A couple of days later, you'll notice something missing and go 'so that's where that bit went' and have to go and buy one from Audi. That's the way these things always work out. Its hidden away in the statute know as Sod's Law.

Nope, it is telling you not to put more than 0.5 kg in it, so it must be a cover for a handy holder somewhere

It's the rear of the door on the centre arm rest.

Mystery solved! Enjoyed this thread. I vote for a regular "Where did I just pull this bit from?" quiz!
